Kinder Scholars in the News

Anurag Chandran Publishes with the AEI

Though the fall semester is officially under way, news from the Kinder Scholars Summer Program in Washington, D.C., continues to roll in. On Thursday, September 3, the American Enterprise Institute’s Critical Threats Project published research conducted over the summer by University of Missouri senior and 2015 Kinder Scholar Anurag Chandran. Chandran, who was also a member of the inaugural class of the Kinder Institute’s Society of Fellows and founded the undergraduate-run Journal on Constitutional Democracy, served as the AEI’s al Qaeda research intern through the Kinder Scholars Program, focusing on terrorism, militancy, and security issues in South Asia, and Pakistan in particular. His recently published research, which can be found here, outlines al Qaeda’s current presence in the Indian subcontinent.
