Nel Kupiec

Biography

A junior from the Chicagoland area, Nel Kupiec is majoring in Political Science while pursuing minors in American Constitutional Democracy and Psychological Sciences, along with the university’s Honors and Multicultural Studies certificates. On campus, she is a member of Griffiths Leadership Society, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Undergraduate Women in Law, and works as a writing tutor at Mizzou’s Writing Center. Through these roles and her experience working as a legislative intern in the Missouri House of Representatives, she hopes to combine her passions for legal research, writing, and advocacy by ultimately attending law school and returning to her hometown as a practicing attorney. In her free time, she likes exploring the trails around Columbia, listening to different genres of music, and spending time with her friends, family, and cat, Igor.
