Robert Fletcher

Biography

Robert Fletcher works in the fields of modern imperial and global history. He previously held positions as the Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Global History at Oxford, Lecturer in Imperial and Global History at the University of Exeter, and Reader in the History of Britain and Empire at the University of Warwick. His work has appeared in Past and Present, The English Historical Review, Journal of Historical Geography, and Journal of the Economic and Social History of the Orient. A full list of his publications is available here.

At the Kinder Institute he is heavily involved in supporting graduate studies, including the operation of the MA program in Atlantic History and Politics and its summer school at the University of Oxford. He also serves as Director of International Research Collaboration, supporting new scholarly work in history and politics.
