Tucker Black

Biography

Originally from Harrisburg, Missouri, Tucker Black received his BA in History from the University of Missouri in Spring 2025, along with minors in Political Science and Defense and Strategic Studies.

Tucker’s research has focused heavily on Irish Revolutionary History from the mid-to-late 1800s onwards. This included a senior thesis entitled, Irish Americans and the Struggle for Irish Freedom. Over the course of his time in the MA in Atlantic History & Politics, his research has started to shift more towards the political science side of the studies, and after completing that degree, he will attend George Washington University’s Master’s in Public Policy program, with the ultimate goal of working for the federal government in defense and national security policy.
