Global Perspectives on the US at 250
For the Spring 2026, our regular Friday Colloquium Series will abandon the familiar confines of Jesse 410 and re-locate to the Tiger Hotel Ballroom in downtown Columbia for the seven-part America at 250: Global Perspectives lecture series which will bring scholars from four different continents to the Kinder Institute to provide international perspectives on US history as the nation prepares to celebrate its semiquincentennial anniversary. The series kicks off on January 30 and concludes on May 2, and anyone interested in attending can RSVP using the event links on the Kinder Institute website.
