Full details in the press release here, but it’s with great pleasure that we get to share the news that Kinder Institute and MU History Associate Professor Alec Zuercher Reichardt’s recent University of Pennsylvania Press monograph, Roads to Power, Roads to Crisis: The War for the American Interior and the Infrastructural Routes of Revolution, was awarded the 2026 Professional Prize for Scholarship in Postal History by the Smithsonian National Postal Museum.
