International Perspectives on the US at 250
Throughout the 2025-26 academic year, our undergraduate Public History ASH Scholars research team led by Professor Lily Santoro embarked on an ambitious project, reaching out to scholars from around the globe and asking them to share international perspectives on the United States’ 250th anniversary. Just ahead of the July 4, 2026, weekend, their hard work came to fruition with the launch of an interactive website cataloging each scholar’s toast to the semiquincentennial, so we encourage anyone who stumbles upon this news post to use the button below to join us in circumnavigating the globe for this national milestone!
