Exhibition placards on the sesquicentennial celebration of the US in Missouri

Stars, Stripes, and Celebrations

Thanks to Lauren Johnson of our hometown Columbia Missourian for her recent write-up of “Stars, Stripes, and Celebrations: Missourians Commemorating America’s Founding in Uncertain Times,” the public history exhibit developed by Prof. Lily Santoro’s ASH Scholars research team which was unveiled at the Missouri State Museum in Jefferson City on June 6. The exhibit will run through May 2027 and would not have been possible without the generous support of Missouri Humanities. Read Lauren’s article here.
