“Invisible Nation,” 3/7 Documentary Screening at the Kinder Institute

In partnership with MU’s Department of History and International Studies program, the Kinder Institute will co-host a screening of Vanessa Hope’s 2024 documentary Taiwan: Invisible Nation, which centers on Taiwan’s first female president, Tsai Ing-wen, as she leads the island’s urgent struggle to preserve its hard-won democracy, autonomy, and freedom from fear. The screening will be held on March 7 at 3:30pm in Jesse 410, and more about the film, including a trailer, can be found here.
