Community Seminars

The cornerstone of the Kinder Institute’s educational outreach programming, our community seminars provide Columbia residents with an opportunity to study the nuances of constitutional democracy in the United States through an examination of works that exemplify the history and evolution of the nation’s political and intellectual traditions. Led by Kinder Institute faculty members, past community seminars have focused on topics including the political writings of C.S. Lewis, “Hamilton v. Jefferson,” and Music and American politics.
