“Inland Empires in Modern World History”: July 22 and 23 Symposium

Continuing the Institute’s yearly tradition of hosting international conferences, Kinder Institute Professor of British History Rob Fletcher and Kinder Institute Assistant Professor of Constitutional Democracy and History Al Zuercher Reichardt will convene a global symposium of scholars on July 22 and 23 to present research on “Inland Empires in Modern World History.” The conference will take place at Oxford’s Rothermere American Institute as well as via Zoom.

Note: A full conference schedule can be found here, and abstracts for all papers being presented can be found here. All times are British Summer Time (GMT + 1). Starting on the morning of July 22nd, recordings of papers will become available here as they’re presented.
