In partnership with the International Center at the University of Missouri, the Kinder Institute supports opportunities for students to broaden their knowledge of the nation’s political traditions by studying the history and theory of constitutional democracy in a global context. We are pleased to continue to help sponsor the following faculty-led study abroad courses:
- Developing Dynamics of Democracy with Professor Marvin Overby
- Italy: From Fascism to Liberation with Professor Linda Reeder
- The Scots and the Making of America with Professor Jay Dow
- Global History at Oxford
NOTE: The deadline to apply for the “Global History at Oxford” study abroad course is November 1, 2017. Designed by Kinder Institute Chair in Constitutional Democracy Jay Sexton, and the first program of its kind at MU, students who participate in the course will have an opportunity to immerse themselves in the intellectual, pedagogic, and social life of Corpus Christi College at University of Oxford for a week during the Spring 2018 semester. Contact Prof. Sexton (SextonJ@missouri.edu) with any questions.
