Missouri Civics Bee
RSVP HERE
Launched in 2022, the National Civics Bee is an annual competition that inspires young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities. On August 6, 2025, the event will make its first trip to the Show-Me State, with the inaugural Missouri Civics Bee, presented by Google in partnership with the Missouri Chamber of Commerce, set to commence at 10am at the State Historical Society of Missouri in Columbia.
We’ll welcome finalists from the Waynesville-St. Robert, Grain Valley, and Harrisonville Chambers of Commerce, with the winner advancing to the National Civics Bee in Washington, DC, on November 10-11. The event is free and open to the public, but we ask that anyone planning to attend register using the link above.
ABOUT THE CONTESTANTS
The Civics Bee is a project of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Civic Trust, which promotes a broad range of efforts aimed at improving understanding of and involvement in American civic life. As part of this larger project, a host of Chambers of Commerce across Missouri held local Civics Bees in the lead-up to the main event in August. Read more about the Grain Valley and Harrisonville Chambers’ contributions to this endeavor.
